Blog Explaination

I am creating this blog to help myself as well as others learn and understand more about the Watergate Scandal, one of the most important political situations in United States history. The scandal began in 1972 when a burgalary was reported at a political office in Washington in which many highly secure and confidental documents were reported stolen. The scandal became known as Watergate and lasted for another two years with a series of trials and arrests, until it hit its climax with the resignation of President Richard Nixon in 1974.
